PILOT TESTS

Pilot tests are a fundamental tool to guarantee the success of the results, since they allow the main elements of each result to be assessed and evaluated. In this way, the pilot tests induce reflection and change the aspects that can be improved.

With this objective, within the framework of the Erasmus Plus project “VET STUDENTS INTO TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES”, multiple pilot tests have been carried out in educational centers, technology companies and research centers. These tests have focused, firstly, on the intellectual results O1: ON YOUR SIDE: VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FOR EUROPEAN MOBILITIES IN TECHNOLOGY CENTERS and O2: PERSONALIZED DIGITAL COURSE FOR LABOR TRAINING IN A TECHNOLOGY CENTRE, and secondly, on the tangible results.

The main objective has been to improve the quality of the results, as well as to ensure that the results developed in the project respond to the needs of the recipients. Thus, we have been able to achieve quality and impact results. In this project we have focused on carrying out pilot tests with the direct recipients of the two intellectual outputs. Thanks to these tests we have been able to obtain quality and impact results, with a great capacity for use.

We can say that the results of the pilot tests have been very positive, since they have involved students, teachers and technicians from technology companies and research centers who showed great interest and motivation for the project and the results. Likewise, thanks to these pilot tests, the dissemination and impact of the results has been enhanced.

We have carried out the following pilot tests:

In VET EDUCATION CENTERS OF THE NETWORK. The partner educational centers of the project have tested two intellectual results with more than 70 VET students of computer science, electricity and electronics and mechanics, since they are direct recipients of the same. On the other hand, the tutors of the students’ practices have tested the intellectual result O1, which allows us to make improvements and ensure the quality of the result. These tutors have used the ON YOUR SIDE (O1) software during the three months of the mobility.
These pilot tests have been carried out in:
• 1st EPALGEMATIKO LYKEIO KATO ACHAIAS.
• CIFP HESPÉRIDES.
• CIFP POLYTECHNIC.

In EXTERNAL EDUCATIONAL CENTERS TO THE NETWORK AND EXPERTS IN EDUCATION. 30 teachers from different educational centers have tested the intellectual products of the project. On the one hand, they have valued the usefulness of the intellectual production O1 (ON YOUR SIDE) for tutors in educational centres. On the other hand, they have positively valued the usefulness of the O2 intellectual outlet (DIGITAL PERSONALIZED COURSE) for students who are going to face a work experience in the technology sector. On the other hand, 100 VET students have obtained these tests by downloading the app and taking the personalized digital course, successfully passing it. These tests have been carried out in:
• IES ISAAC PERAL
• GRETA DU VELAY
• COOP.V. OF RED TREES REALIZATION PROJECTS.
• ERGASTIRIAKO KENTRO KASTORIAS

RESEARCHERS, PROFESSORS AND TECHNICIANS. Professors and technicians from research centers in different countries of the European Union have helped in the pilot tests of intellectual outings, endorsing their usefulness. Specifically, these tests have been carried out on:
• BC MATERIALS
• CENTER FOR BIOMATERIALS AND TISSUE ENGINEERING
• PHYSICS CENTER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MINHO (CFUM)

In TECHNOLOGICAL COMPANIES. The technology companies associated with the project have put the intellectual result O1 (ON YOUR SIDE) to the test among their workers. Thanks to these tests, improvements adapted to tutoring, monitoring and evaluation of mobility can be implemented. In the case of Ikasia and Somatica, the tutors of the students who have carried out the mobilities have had the opportunity to use the result throughout the process. On the other hand, technology companies outside the network have carried out pilot tests among their staff. Specifically, they have been carried out in:
• IKASIA TECHNOLOGIES SL
• SOMATICA, MATERIALS AND SOLUTIONS
• NANO PAINT
• W4A
• SMALLCODES
